Welcome back once again. Hopefully you read my 5-part series which explains my introduction to Real Estate Investing. If you haven’t, start here. It’s worth the time. The ups and downs are like no other.
As I sit here today, it is February in the year 2018 and I have been a successful landlord for about 515 days…but who’s really counting? I’m proud to say the worst days are behind me and I am now receiving a pleasant side income from my first property. You can see the exact numbers here. Not too shabby right?
So, what does a man do after successfully restoring a property and renting it out for profit? Does he A. Sit back, relax, and count his money? Does he B. Go back to his normal life and the 9-5 job?…or does he C. Get super fired up about Real Estate Investing and go for more?!?!
If you picked C. then congratulations you are a smart individual and you made the right choice!!!
After seeing the power of Real Estate Investing I just had to keep going. I had to learn more and that’s exactly what I did. I spent the next 6 months reading everything I could on Real Estate, listening to podcasts non-stop, learning how it could be used as an investment.
I looked at house after house after house after house until one finally caught my eyes and something in my head told me that this was the one.
So, with all my remaining inheritance money on the line….I decided to buy a 4-family house roughly 30 miles outside of Boston. The plan was to live in one unit while renting out the other 3. It was a long and tedious process especially while still working my 9-5 job in the city but I am now……drum roll please….
But why stop there?
After establishing myself further and maximizing my cash flow, I will continue purchasing property. I will use this additional cash flow to build up a passive income where I no longer would need to rely solely on my day job. I am determined to making this happen and I have no plans to stop so I ask that you continue to follow me on this journey as I explain to you how I was able to do it and as I share with you the many experiences and stories I encounter!
